Tylee-Birdsall & Co was formed in 2006 to provide project management, process improvement and resource planning services primarily to engineering and manufacturing companies. It was determined that such companies rarely have time themselves to review processes or conduct resource planning. This has a knock on effect to project management.

The philosophy of Tylee-Birdsall & Co is based around 3 key beliefs:

1. Simplicity -  The best solutions are often the most simple. Complex solutions contain the added risk of being misunderstood.

2. Realism - The acceptance that the world is not a perfect place is important. Change occurs and must be accepted. Solutions must account for change.

3. Unconventional Thinking - It is well understood that the best solutions often stem from thinking outside conventional boundaries.
